Last weekend I stepped back into the kitchen and it was all sorts of wonderful. Like I spent all morning in the kitchen, made a cake, prepped cookie dough and prepped cinnamon buns only to burn them. I wasn’t happy about that, but I really enjoyed baking. Feeling the stress disappear and just like I was getting a bit of me back again.
So lets talk about the cake I made, I basically had time to kill as I was waiting for my cinnamon buns to prove so I saw a lemon and decided to make a Lemon Madeira cake. Which turned out to be a rather nice addition!]
